I like to theme my dice sets into pairs. For example, I'll take a radiant orange dice set paired with a luminous purple set and call them my "mystic dice: Dawn and Dusk", or pair an unpainted steel set with a glittering pale blue set and call them my "fundamental dice: Sword and Sorcery". My first Mythica set from Die Hard Dice was the Mythica Sinister Emerald when it first debuted. This year, as a gift to myself, I bought this Sinister Ruby set to pair with it. They're now my "assassin dice: Blood and Poison". As always with the Mythica designs, the cut of the dice is magnificent, tumbling better than any of my other varieties of dice without sacrificing balance. The readability on them hasn't been an issue either, despite it being a dark color on darker metal, as the paint really pops. And the way the Mythica set colors the negative space on the dice, leaving the border and numbers as the metallic contrast always gets compliments wherever I go. Without a doubt, Mythica Sinister Ruby really completes my absolute favorite thematic pairing among all the dice sets I own. Much love to the Die Hard crew
