Carousel with Hero Banners

When the Hero Banners are contained in a Carousel, the img tags contain srcset but also they have src="largest_version.jpg" so there are mobile browsers which just load the largest version (+100KB each) for each of the hero banner images, even if smaller versions are available and are more appropriate for small screens.
