Yes, these dice don’t look as pretty as the preview image from all perspectives. I like this more than I thought I would because the very dark side is seen with low number rolls (ie a 1 on the d20 looks the worst) whereas high numbers on these dice look like the preview image. I LOVE the contrast in how the low/high numbers rolls look. Not sure if it’s coincidental or purposeful but I love this.
The dark sections do seem a little too dull and lacking detail but no further complaints from me.
i think these dice are pretty and the edges feel nice. i wish the different resins were mixed a bit more consistently but i have no idea how hard that is to do. no point deduction for that though just a suggestion. i do not regret getting them and i'm actively using them.
I love Die Hard Dice, I have several sets that are the best dice I've ever owned. This Delirium set has been my least favorite. The layering of the resin is very stark, unavoidable in the design I guess. It really affects those the dice look ... From the top and upper views they look great....seeing them bottom half roll up, they are black or black planes. The sparkle and magic in the pics is very die face and angle specific. Def recommend Die Hard Dice ...just maybe not this set. 🙏
