Introducing the world’s first mass produced braille polyhedral dice! Designed by the DOTS RPG Project, these dice use letters A-J to represent numbers 1-10 and letters K-T to represent numbers 11-20. The Touch Point Edge can be considered an underline, acting as an orientation marker to indicate the proper way to read each face when the dice are rolled.

The DOTS Braille RPG Dice were designed with the blind and visually impaired experience as the main focus. Tactile readability was prioritized by creating consistent faces across all dice with a single braille cell and no engraved numbers. This simplified numbering system makes the dice easy to learn and fun to read!

A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to Accessibility In Tabletop, the DOTS RPG Project provides braille dice, accessibility resources, and more to make tabletop roleplaying games accessible for disabled gamers. I have been looking for affordable Braille dice for a while. Before coming across Die Hard Dice, I had only found extremely expensive 3D printed plastic dice. That's why I was very excited to find metal Braille dice here (and for an affordable price!). When I accidentally ordered the plastic Braille dice (also very pretty), the company contacted ME to make sure I was ordering the set I wanted. Very helpful, and the product is great! Light, well-balanced, easy to read tactilely, the die faces are recessed so that the Braille lettering doesn't interfere with rolling, and it comes in a case with tactile Braille labeling on the cover. Absolutely in love with my new dice set!

Love these Braille dice. I am blind with no light perception and these dice are easy to read. They roll well. I have a set in both metal and plastic. They are both excellent but the metal is may favorite. These are the best braille dice I’ve ever tried!

I also give them credit for helping me slay a giant walrus vampire!

I purchased a set of metal braille dice. They are good quality, heavy and sturdy. They have good quality braille, unlike some other companies.

I had a fantastic first-order experience with Die Hard Dice, and this won't be my last for sure. I ordered on Thursday and had them on Saturday. The extra surprise items are fun and make it feel like you're opening a little box of surprise loot. My partner and I are both blind, so Braille (or otherwise sufficiently tactile) dice were a must, but I didn't want to get just boring old 3d printed Braille dice. I wanted cool ones! These are indeed cool, but I wish there were other color or style options. I picked up a couple non-Braille dice just for fun along with these, and I was surprised by how tactile some of the other ones are that I got, but I don't know if I'll be able to read them by feel fast enough or not. Since I got lucky and ended up with some reasonably tactile ones in my order, I maintain hope that there are some mainstream dice that I might be able to use that suit my play style a little better (color, rainbows, dragons, etc.). Back to these particular dice though: if you rest your finger in the little indentation on the bottom of each side, the Braille falls exactly in the right spot on my finger for quick identification. The Braille is comfy to read and not super poky like metal Braille can sometimes be. It's perfect for me. These are just so awesome, and everyone should own them! Thank you for selling these dice!
